METAL BODY PIGS
A metal body Mandrel Pig falls under the category of a Utility Pig. Utility pigs are used for sealing or cleaning. The metal body construction offers unmatched durability and the unique ability to reuse and redress the body with a variety of pig part combinations to best suit the application. Some metal body pigs are bi-directional and capable of traveling in either direction in the pipeline.
GAUGE PIG
The slotted aluminum gauge plates will deform and stay deformed if they encounter an obstruction in the line. Since they are made of aluminum they will not damage the internal surface of the pipe.

STEEL MANDREL
This pig is best used for batching dissimilar liquids out of a pipeline. The two cup construction provides a tight seal between liquid compounds. The cups can be changed to different sizes depending on the specific job. The pig was originally designed for batching liquids but is also great for gauging. The aggressive two cup design allows for maximum sealing and minimizing by pass.
